Mayo Planetarium's "Seeing"
Join us in a journey exploring the life of a photon. Start from its creation in the belly of a star, travel across the galaxy and go all the way into the eye of a young stargazing girl. We’ll discuss light, and everything it tells us! Suggested ages 10 and up. Please enter through door #6 at Mayo High School.

Instructor
Ben Joslin is the Director of Rochester Public School’s Planetarium at Mayo High School. He graduated with a degree in science from the University of Arizona and has a graduate degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has taught Astronomy and Earth and Planetary Physics in the district for the last 6 years, and has been teaching science and math since 2005.
