Beyond Beginning Bridge
This class reviews beginner basics and introduces bridge in competition, using Audrey Grant’s Bridge Basics 2 - Competitive Bidding. This book covers Preemptive Opening Bids, Overcalls and Advances, and Takeout Doubles and Advances.
Class was originally scheduled to begin on 09/03, but due to a scheduling conflict, it will begin on 09/10.

Instructor
Joanne is a retired teacher from Iowa who moved to Rochester in 2005. Her parents were lifelong bridge players, and she started playing “party bridge” in college. She began to take bridge lessons through Community Education to learn more of the rules and conventions as well as meet others who were new to the game. She now plays regularly at the Rochester Duplicate Bridge Club with a community of bridge players who have become great friends.
