Learn to Crochet
Learn the basics of crochet in this project-based class taught by local crochet artist Lydia Hansen. In this six-week course, master four crochet stitches while completing three individual crochet projects that you will take home at the end of the course. Other skills covered in this class will include basic pattern reading, stuffed animal construction, and how to select the right yarn for your project. Suitable for ages 12 to 112. Provided class materials will include: crochet hooks, yarn, and patterns for each project. A $5 supply fee will be collected during the first class. |

Lydia Hansen is a Rochester-based crocheter and fiber artist. She has been crocheting for over 10 years, making everything from afghans and mittens to crochet stuffed animals and plants. She enjoys helping folks of all ages gain the skills to take up this hobby.
