Pop-Up Parent Ed: Encouraging Independence

Join a licensed Parent Educator online for topic-specific information based on research. Feel free to enjoy your lunch with your camera on or off. You will leave with take-away tips to add to your parenting toolbox.

After the 30-minute class the parent educator will take questions for those who choose to stay up to 15 additional minutes. Participants will receive a follow-up email including resources and responses to all inquiries.

Encouraging Independence - Discover practical, age-appropriate strategies for supporting young children as they build confidence, problem-solving skills, and self-help abilities. Learn simple, everyday ways to foster independence at home—through routines, play, and communication—while still providing the connection and support children need.
