Kellogg Mindful Middle School Stress, Coping & Connection (Gr. 6-8)Middle School Activities & SportsMiddle school can be a challenging time as students navigate academic pressure, friendships, changing emotions, and increasing expectations. This weekly afterschool club would provide students with a relaxed, supportive environment to learn practical strategies for managing stress, building emotional awareness, strengthening coping skills, and navigating common middle-school challenges. Through fun, low-cost, hands-on activities, students would have opportunities to practice mindfulness, identify healthy ways to cope, build resilience, and connect with peers in a positive setting. Kellogg Soccer (Gr. 6-8)Middle School Activities & SportsFun for Everyone! Kellogg Soccer is open to all students regardless of previous experience. We focus on gameplay, teamwork, understanding of rules, and knowledge of basic positions. Equipment Students are expected to bring their own shin guards and socks. Acceptable footwear: tennis shoes or soccer cleats. Unacceptable footwear: crocs or open-toed shoes. Scholarships Available Families with financial need can request that the fee be waived for this activity. Save Your Place in Line If our online registration website prompts you to join a waitlist, please still register for the activity! There are often openings available. LincolnSchool Age Child Care (SACC)The School Age Child Care Program is available at all Rochester Public Schools Elementary sites. The program provides a safe, nurturing environment where children can feel they are significant and they belong. Our goal of the School Age Child Care Program is to provide a variety of developmentally appropriate activities including arts/crafts, STEM activities, self-directed play, field trips, library, tech time, physical activities (indoor/outdoor), community service, and to offer an environment where homework is encouraged. You will register for summer and school year care separately based on your family needs. Registrations are reviewed in the order they are received in our online system and can take up to ten (10) business days to process.
