WaitlistHooked on Fun: A Fishing Course for Beginners (Gr. 3-6)Recreation & SportsThis two-day introduction to fishing course will teach the basics of knot tying, equipment, bait, fish species, and outdoor ethics. Students will also assemble a tackle box they can use for their next fishing adventure. Best of all, we will spend a day fishing! Day 1 will be spent in the classroom learning the important details of the basics of fishing.Day 2 will be spent fishing at Chester Woods Park. All fishing equipment and bait will be provided, however, students are welcome to bring their favorite fishing pole if they desire. The program provides a safe, nurturing environment where children can feel they are significant and they belong. Our goal of the School Age Child Care Program is to provide a variety of developmentally appropriate activities including arts/crafts, STEM activities, self-directed play, field trips, library, tech time, physical activities (indoor/outdoor), community service, and to offer an environment where homework is encouraged. 2026 Summer SACC Contract (June 8,2025-August 7,2025) Registration open at Overland You will register for summer and school year care separately based on your family needs. Registrations are reviewed in the order they are received in our online system and can take up to ten (10) business days to process.
